(yields about two dozen)
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

* beat butter and sugars together until it becomes light and fluffy
* gradually beat in cocoa powder and baking powder, beat until combined
* beat in eggs one at a time until combined
* stir in flour until everything is combined
* mix in the chocolate chips
* cover the dough and chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes
* preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
* take dough out onto a floured surface and divide into two
* roll each into 9 inch logs and flatten to about 1 inch in height
* place each log onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 20 - 25 minutes or until an inserted knife or fork comes out clean
* cool for five minutes on cookie sheet, transfer to a cooling rack for about an hour
* with a serrated knife into 3/4 inch slices and place them on its side and return to the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 minutes, flip them and bake the other side for another 8 minutes
* take them out and cool for about 20 minutes and you are ready to eat!
